DASTAK – ’16 was released on the International Mother Tongue Day ( 21 February 2017 ) by Principal Dr. P.Thomas Mathew and renowned writer Dr. Prameela . K.P , Professor & Coordinator , Departmant of Translation Studies, Sri Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit , Kalady.
Dr. Prameela . K.P inaugurated the Department activities and engaged a session on the various Theories of Translation & its relevance in Literature for the First Year Under Graduate students.
Ms. Kavya .K of B.Sc Psychology was honoured by the Principal on behalf of the Department of Hindi for being the University Topper.
Dr. Ruby Elsa Jacob gave a message on the Relevance and Importance of Mother Tongue Day and how the future generations have a great role in promoting awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity.
